A sustainable rural society, where no poverty exists and people act responsibly toward the environment

From the 13th to 15th of September 2021, the project ““Associated agriculture for long-term income stabilization of ethnic minorities and equal integration in community development in Vietnam” (BMZ project) organized training courses on production and business planning for project beneficiaries. The activity was conducted by the Women’s Union of Nam Giang district, Quang Nam province with the support of the Centre for Rural Development in Central Vietnam.

There were 6 training courses organized for 114 people who are members of livestock farming groups, collectives and cooperatives in Ta Poo, Ta Bhing, Ca Dy communes and Thanh My town, Nam Giang district, Quang Nam province.

The activity aimed to improve capacity of beneficiaries for production and business planning. Participants can apply knowledge and skills acquired from the training course in their production and business activities and also provide support for other members in their groups to develop black pig value chain to increase profitability.

Through the training courses, participants were equipped with basic knowledge and practice of black pig production, processing and business of black pig products. Many training contents attracted participants’ interest such as production and business ideas, customers identification, competitor analysis and production and business planning.

At the end of the training courses, 100% of participants confirmed to master knowledge and methods of production and business planning especially accounting in production and business. These training courses have finished a series of 30 training courses on market research, value chain and production and business planning for local people.
